2010 was an eventful year - here are a few highlights!

I went to Downing Street! As owner of The Dream PA, I attended a Reception for Britain's Small Businesses at 10 Downing Street in February! I reported on the event for Enterprise UK- you can read my blog post here.

I was a Finalist in the 'Best Business Support' category at The Annual Mumpreneur Awards, held in September.

I became a Columnist for At Home Magazine, writing every fortnight about being a busy working mum and the daily juggle. You can read more here. My columns are called 'The Business Mum'.

I wrote for the business resource website Top Ten Tips. My article was ' Top Ten Tips for small business owners who are thinking about using a Virtual Assistant'. You can read the full article here.

The Dream PA's Proprietor - Nadine Hill has written two paperback books. The first was an instant Amazon Best-Seller - a 'how to' book for Virtual Assistants, aimed at the British VA market. It is called 'The Virtual Assistant Handbook'. The second book- just launched in 2011 is a time management guide for writers. See her speaking website for more details.

Nadine has also given several inspirational speeches over the past couple of years- here are just a few highlights!

In October 2009 Nadine jetted off to Stockholm to address the launch of the European Female Entrepreneurs Ambassador Network. This event hosted by the European Commission and the Swedish Presidency ended in a Royal Gala Dinner at Stockholm City Hall and Nadine was there representing the UK in her role as a long-standing Enterprise UK Ambassador.

At the 6th Annual 'Women Inspired' event hosted by WorcNet, an organisation for women networking in Yorkshire, Nadine shared her enterprise journey from 'spare bedroom business start up' to Amazon best selling author via global 24-7 business in September 2009.

Nadine Hill has been shortlisted again in the annual Yorkshire Business Insider's 42 Under 42" Awards for 2010. She is in the running for the 'Entrepreneur of the Decade' Award at this year's dinner. In 2009 she was shortlisted for both "The Master Entrepreneur Award" and "The Business Leader Award" and in 2007 Nadine was one of the year's 42 Under 42 'up and coming' Entrepreneur winners which resulted in her business being featured within the Yorkshire Business Insider Publication. This prestigious annual event celebrates the region's top 42 Entrepreneurs under the age of 42 and is hosted by the Yorkshire Business Insider Magazine.
